About Yala National Park
Yala National Park is Sri Lanka's most visited and second largest national park, bordering the Indian Ocean and covering nearly 130,000 hectares of land.
The park is best known for its variety of wildlife, especially its large population of leopards, which is arguably the highest density in the world.
Yala is divided into 5 blocks, of which only blocks 1 and 5 are open to the public. Block 1 is the most visited area and offers the best leopard sightings.
The park also features important cultural sites, including the ancient Sithulpawwa Rock Temple dating back to the 2nd century BC.

Itinerary
Morning (7:00 AM): Pickup from your hotel in Colombo and begin the scenic journey to Yala National Park.

Afternoon (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM): Transfer to Yala National Park entrance and complete registration.
